COVID 19 Information

Read below for information on the venue COVID 19 policy as well as useful information on what is required before your trip to Italy 

Venue's Policy
San Giusto's Abbey requires everybody to provide a Green Pass certificate or overseas equivalent as a condition of entry. The Green Pass is the European Vaccination passport and can be obtained by being fully vaccinated or after receiving a negative test (PCR or antigen) in the preceeding 48h.
You are also required to wear a face mask in indoor public areas of the venue, such as the restrooms. Please bring a mask with you. 

I was vaccinated outside of Italy, how do I get a Green Pass?

You won't need to get a Green Pass, you are to able to use your own foreign vaccination certicate as long as the certificate meets the requirements needed to be recognised by Italian Authorities. The foreign vaccination certificate must contain the following information: the personal detail of the holder, the details of the vaccine, the date(s) of administration of the vaccine, the indentity of the certificate issuer and the above information must also be written in Italian, English, French, Spanish or German. Your trip to Italy, COVID 19 requirements

Conditions of entry vary based on your Country of orgin, generally you are able to travel to Italy by meeting the following conditions:

  • Present a negative molecular or antigen swab test taken 72h prior entering Italy

  • Fill out a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) prior entering Italy

  • Travellers who are fully vaccinated with an EMA approved vaccine are not required to follow quarantine protocols on arrival 

  • Travellers who are not fully vaccinated or vaccinated with a vaccine not approved by EMA must quaratine for 5 days in the place mentioned in the PLF and take an antigen test at the end of the quaratine period 

  • Travellers from United States and Australia do not have to undergo a 5 day isolation as long as they meet the following criteria:

  1. In past 14 days prior etering Italy they have not been in countries beonging to list E - find details here.
  2. Have both a vaccination certificare and a negative molecular or antigen swab test taken 72h prior to entering Italy (In the case of arrival from the UK the antigen test must be taken in the  48h prior to entering Italy)
